It was founded in 1961 with the aim of meeting the need for processed almonds and hazelnuts, which until then had been consumed with their skins on. The main activities of Joan Escoda SA are the blanching, selection and industrial processing of almonds, hazelnuts and other types of nuts on behalf of third parties.
